Hazrat Maulana Syed Hammad ul Hasan Chishti The Spiritual Successor of Hazrat Faridul Mashaikh

Maulana Syyed Hammad ul Hasan Chisti was born on 17 Shaban 1418 Hijri (17 December 1997, Wednesday) , a day of immense joy and happiness for his family. He is the eldest of the two sons of Hazrat Syyed Faridul Hasan Chisti.

EDUCATION

From an early age, he was raised in a spiritual atmosphere and refrained himself from engaging in worldly activities. Instead, he concentrated on prayer, fast, and spiritual activities. He received his early education under the tutelage of his father Faridul Mashaikh.

After completing his primary education, he went to St. Anselm’s Senior Secondary School, Ajmer for a conventional education. However, his deep-rooted and keen interest in spiritualism and the Islamic atmosphere at home eventually led him away and forced him to drop out of mainstream education after finishing his secondary education. During this time, he honed his skills in the English language, as well as in Arabic and Farsi as well as Urdu.

Recognizing his incination towards spiritual learnings, his father arranged scholars to teach him at home. He studied Usulul Fiqh, knowledge about Hadith, Tafseer, Nahav, Sarf and many other, under the guidance of Hazrat Maulana Abdul Mustafa Banarasi.

Amongst his teachers, there were extremely famous, influential and renowned pious predecessors like Mufti Shah Mashood Raza Qadri (the grandson of Musar Ala Hazrat Qalandar Rahimahullah), Hazrat Maulana Sheikh Syyed Muhammad Al Sha'ir Lebanon and many others. "I see Khawja's crown on this child's head," said Shah Masood Raza.

Hammad ul Hassan dedicated his life to the pursuit of knowledge and spiritual instruction, travelling widely to acquire knowledge and wisdom. Upon his father's demise, he took up the leadership role and became a role model for the people of the religious community and many other. Currently he leads the Khanqah reverted by his father Hazrat Farid al Mashaikh.

The Chishtiyya Tariqat's Caliphate lineage traces through the paternal line to Ala Hazrat Ahmad Raza Khan and Bhaktiyar Kaki Dahilavi, the main line of Chishtiyyah Tariqat. Additionally, Sayyid Hammad ul Hasan holds the Tariqat of Naqshbandiyya, Qadiriyyah, and others. He's one of the rare scholars in North India who has a collection of different Sanads, like Svihahussitva and Sabu Qiraat. His Khanqah preserves historical treasures, like rare books, several ijazats(permissions), and sanads, as well as historical documents, articles, letters and objects from ancient times written by great ancient scholars in different languages such as Farsi, Arabic, and Persian.

Inspired by a passion for the study of history, he constantly researches and records the past and documenting it, encouraging others to do the same. His piety, intellect, and steadfast loyalty have earned him the title of "the greatest living Valiyy".

Syyedna Hammad ul Hasan, who inherited social services as a trait from him father, continues to provide assistance to those in need, as well as a support for scholars, aiding the less fortunate, and sponsoring the education of students. Currently, he is the curator of Ajmer Dargah and heads the Khanqah 'Mashrabe Chist' in Ajmer, a beacon of knowledge and spirituality.

As for the questions raised regarding the turban he wears, the turban is a symbol of his rightful ascendancy as the successor to Hazrat Faridul ul Mashaikh. He has passed on a legacy of spiritual guidance and loyalty that continues to inspire others.
